This is the seasoning mix for my Spice Kolhrabi Cheetos Fries. You could definitely use them on other things, though. Maybe cucumber chips?

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1 tbsp kashmiri chili powder (you can use any chili powder as a substitute)
  • 1 tbsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp dried chives
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp ground thyme
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric

Equipment

  • spice grinder
  • large seasoning shaker

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a medium bowl and then grind in batches in a spice or coffee grinder. Store in an airtight container.

Recipe Notes

You can use any chili powder as a substitute for the kashmiri powder here. I simply like its heat level and vibrant red color for this dish.
