Loaded with B vitamins, magnesium, and zinc, these Spicy Kohlrabi Cheetos Fries may be the most nutritious thing you eat all day. All of this despite them being as addictive as your favorite cheesy junk food. They’re accidentally vegan, too!
Peel and cut the kohlrabi into fries about the thickness of steak fries, about 1/2". Toss in a bowl with the avocado oil to coat thoroughly.
Air fry at 400 F degrees until crisp and browned on the outside. Be careful about taking this too far, as kohlrabi have quite a bit of moisture and will soften rapidly. If you want something even crisper, you can consider my fried version and use the nutritional yeast "cheese" powder from this post.
