Thai Iced Tea is a great example of a drink that so perfectly reflects its origins that it is hard to imagine it coming from anywhere else. For as coffee obsessed as we all are, it's astonishing that Vietnamese iced coffee has not caught on in a more substantial way. All of the key components are there for it to be a smash hit in the western hemisphere, and yet it hasn't.
